Following the successful open meeting held at High Legh Primary in October to listen to presentations by the Highways Agency for the A556 plans, High Legh Parish Council has now learned that the public consultation has been put back until January 2012.
THe HA have assured the public that they are listening to all our objections and recommendations, and are still asking for feedback from Parish Councils. By putting the date back to January 2010, they are allowing stakeholders more time to make their conerns known to the Agency. The additional time will allow the HA to consider some alternative design options.
